Airbus A330/A350 - Type Rating Course
Course Description
The A330/A350 type rating is valid for the A330 and A350. The course is divided in five blocks:
- WBT
- Theoretical & Ground Training
- Synthetic Flight Training
- Type Rating Skill Test
- Base Training or FFS Base Training (ZFT)
Objective
The course objective is to give the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to safety and efficiently operate the Airbus A330/A350 family including Low Visibility Operations. Successful completion will allow the pilots to meet airline current high standard entry level.
Pre-Entry Requirements
- Hold a valid CPL with 70 hrs PIC
- Hold a valid Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (A)
- Hold a valid MCC & valid ATPL (A) theoretical knowledge examination
- Have completed an Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) course
- Hold a valid Class 1 medical certificate
- Have a minimum of Level 4 in English proficiency

Training Locations
WBT and the Theoretical Ground training is offered in Paris or on customer’s premises for Airlines. Individual Customers may be given the opportunity to study the WBT phase at home through our online Learning Management System (LMS).
Synthetic Simulator training is offered in Paris, London, Madrid, Amsterdam, Toulouse and Frankfurt. Other Training locations available to our Airline Customers such as Dubai, Beijing, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur. Other Locations may be arranged on request.
